1pt Noverre To Go to win 2.40 Wolverhampton at 16/1 (Best Odds Guaranteed)

Ron Harris knows the time of day with Noverre To Go and I'm convinced we've not yet seen the nine-year-old's last career success. Granted, he hasn't got his head in front since August 2013 and all 11 of his previous victories have come at six furlongs (or just shy), but the Daily Enhanced "Magic Multiples" At Unibet Handicap (2.40) represents another drop in class as he continues to tumble down the weights. The extended five furlong trip is obviously a potential snag, but it's not like he doesn't have any form over the minimum - in fact he appeared to run up to his mark when second in a five furlong claimer at Lingfield three starts ago. His two subsequent efforts have been pretty uninspiring but he has now slipped to the exact mark which allows him to compete at this lowly 0-65 level and it could be the catalyst for an improved showing. Fellow veteran Red Cape is also thrown in on his old form and he's still capable of a big run at this sort of level, while the in-form Quality Art is an obvious danger having won three of his last four starts, but at 20/1 I'm willing to take a chance on the selection. (Matt Brocklebank)

2pts Romelu Lukaku to score at any time v Dynamo Kiev at 2/1

The Belgian has been a key man in these European away games for Roberto Martinez. He caused Young Boys all sorts of problems as he netted a hat-trick in Bern in the last round, while he was also the main man when Everton won at Wolfsburg back in the autumn. With Everton finally playing more direct - something their fans and most pundits have been calling for all season - Lukaku is now a more effective weapon and at 2/1 the 21-year-old looks a fair price to score here at any time. The Kiev defence really didn't know how to handle him last week and it's hard to see things turning round that much in just seven days. (Andy Schooler)

1pt Diego Flight (T6) to win 10.11 Hove at SP

Diego Flight landed the Coral Maiden 515 decider last Thursday and can maintain his unbeaten run on these shores over the same course and distance tonight. A smart winner on his sole Irish outing, the March '13 son of College Causeway stepped up on his winning debut for Liz and Rab McNair when taking the £500 final with ease in a hot 29.79secs (calculated) and looks a very nice prospect. He can turn prominently in stripes before putting the race to bed down the far side. (Chris Oliver)

Our acca has claimed five victories during the 2014/15 campaign at 25/1, 22/1, 18/1, 16/1 and 13/1 to leave followers a long way in profit, while we had a near miss on Tuesday night when three of the four selections in the 40/1 Acca came in but Barnsley could only draw.

Back Arsenal, Watford, Blackburn & Gillingham all to win at 16/1 with Sky Bet

Arsenal to beat Newcastle (Barclays Premier League)

Newcastle will be without suspended duo Fabricio Coloccini and Papiss Cisse while Arsenal head into this clash high on confidence in the league despite their European exit in midweek.

Watford to beat Ipswich (Sky Bet Championship)

The Hornets lead the way in the Championship after five wins and a draw in their last six while fellow promotion hopefuls Ipswich have lost their last three away games.

Blackburn to beat Brighton (Sky Bet Championship)

Brighton tend to struggle on their travels while we rate Blackburn as the better side as they look to bounce back from a midweek defeat against high-flying Brentford.

Gillingham to beat Colchester (Sky Bet League 1)

The Gills have stuttered a little lately against tough opposition so expect them to get back to winning ways against second-bottom Colchester.

2pts Rhythm Star 5.20 Newbury at 9/2 (best odds guaranteed)

This dual bumper winner took her career record to three wins from four starts when opening her account over hurdles at the second attempt but her three subsequent runs have proved disappointing despite the five-year-old finishing no worse than third. Two of those runs came on heavy ground and today’s faster conditions – assuming heavy rain doesn’t hit the track – may well suit her better as may the switch to handicap company rather than carrying penalties in novice races. Jamie Snowden has his string in good form and had considered the Listed Aintree bumper for Rhythm Star last year suggesting that she’s held in quite high regard and I doubt that we’ve seen the best of her yet over obstacles. 1pt Roxholme Kid (T1, 8.50 Hove) (BOG)

Roxholme Kid (T1) looks plotted up in trap one at 8.50 and rates banker material for the in-form Hayley Keightley kennel. Drawn on the fence with Droopys Gooch on his immediate outside, it would come as no surprise if Angie Kibble's inmate went in search of middle ground on the run-up and that will leave the dual Sittingbourne winner with a solo to the corner. The son of Hades Rocket has the early gears to exploit a clean run to the turn and he's shown in all-the-way triumphs at the Kent track that he's no short runner. (Matt Salter)

1pt Vasek Pospisil to beat Juan Martin Del Potro at evens

Del Potro has barely played in more than a year, his January comeback being quickly aborted. Two months on and he feels ready to play again but again there are reports that he cannot he hit two-handed backhand as he would like. Pospisil is good enough to capitalise against what will surely be a rusty opponent. He’s been well beaten by some of the world’s best this season but while Del Potro has been right up there in the past it’s hard to see how he’ll be able to click straight away after so little tennis of late. I’m surprised to see the Argentine chalked up as the favourite and am happy to oppose him. (Andy Schooler)

Back Peterborough, Rochdale, Bury & Southport all to win at 20/1 with Sky Bet

Peterborough to beat Coventry (Sky Bet League 1)

Peterborough have claimed five wins from their last six games and are the clear tip to win at home to Coventry.

Rochdale to beat Yeovil (Sky Bet League 1)

Bottom-of-the-table Yeovil are on the way to League 2 and will be pushed closer to relegation by play-off chasers Rochdale.

Bury to beat Southend (Sky Bet League 2)

Bury have won seven of their previous eight matches and can keep their promotion charge going with three points at home to Southend.

Southport to beat Torquay (Vanarama Conference)

Southport are unbeaten in five matches through March and are available at a good price to claim victory at home to Torquay.

1pt win Benenden in the 3.05 Exeter at 5/2 (BOG)

He was positively moderate over timber, but his future was always going to be over the bigger obstacles given his background and his sixth at Ascot a year ago, his last run, hints he might be well handicapped for his chasing bow off 113. The five horses that finished in front of him that day have all won since and their official (hurdles) ratings suggest Benenden might've been let in lightly today, the quintet in question being Simply A Legend (127), Shelford (139), Gassin Golf (141), Milord (122) and Tara Road (126 hurdles, 128 fences). Benenden's year-long absence has to be considered but it doesn't put me off. The fact he's pitched into handicap company for his chasing bow suggests he'll be fit and ready to do himself justice and Scudamore is seven from 31 with his handicap chasers this season. He gets weight from four horses that have shown moderate-at-best form this campaign and, all in all, this represents an excellent chance for him to get his chasing career under rules off to a winning start. 1pt first half in Italy v England to have most goals at 21/10

Three of the last 10 meetings of these sides have ended goalless, two others 1-0 to Italy, and 7/4 about there being a maximum of one looks perfectly fair. So too does 8/13 about under 2.5, while 7/1 no goalscorer is perfectly tempting and it's only the deadly nature of Harry Kane and Eder that puts me off. It's with that in mind I'm going to opt for the first half to produce the most goals at 21/10. It strikes me that half-time changes will disrupt the flow of the game while also removing from the field the pick of the strikers, so we may just need one goal before the break for this bet to land. 1pt John Isner to win the 1st set 7-6 v Milos Raonic at 11/4

Two of the biggest servers in the game go head-to-head in Miami tonight and a tie-break at some point looks nailed on. However, that option is just 1/7. Instead I feel there’s some value in Isner winning a first-set breaker at 11/4. He’s done so in both of the pair’s matches in the past and actually went on to win those encounters. The American lost both his matches in the recent Davis Cup tie against Great Britain but his return to the North American hardcourts has brought an expected pick-up. He’s won four of five matches since arriving back in his homeland, the one loss being a narrow one to Novak Djokovic. He’s yet to lose his serve this week and if he keeps that up for six more games against one of the poorer returners among the world’s elite, we’re into a tie-break tonight, at which point 11/4 becomes a tasty prospect in the shoot-out. (Andy Schooler)

4pts Roxholm Dream (T1) in the 8.14 Sheffield at SP

Roxholme Dream (T1) kicked off her assault on the Pinpoint Health And Homecare Three Steps To Victory with a stunning performance in the heats and she is hard to oppose in the first semi-final (8.14) at Sheffield tonight. The 2014 Bitch and Stayer Of The Year went close to the 480m track record when dominating last Tuesday, coming home a length and a quarter clear of the reopposing Viking Jack over a trip she could have been vulnerable over. The semis of this unique competition are over 500m and, blessed with smart early pace and stamina, she should take all the beating from a plum draw in the red jacket. (Chris Oliver)

1pt Zugzwang to win 6.45 Kempton at 7/1 (best odds guaranteed)

Zugzwang made a good reappearance when fifth at Wolverhampton over the inadequate trip of seven furlongs last time and the step back up to a mile should suit this evening. He was doing his best work at the finish that day after meeting trouble in-running, and a solid gallop over a mile looks ideal for the Kodiac gelding who has won twice at Lingfield. The four-year-old has been dropped 1lb from his Wolverhampton run to a mark of 82, a rating he looks capable of winning off on a few bits of form, including a head second at Chester last September. Jamie Spencer takes over in the saddle and it's his first ride for Ed de Giles in 2015, a trainer he has a 5-12 win strike-rate for in the previous four years. (Ben Linfoot)

1pt Sloane Stephens to beat Simona Halep at 5/2

Stephens has been hitting the ball well in Miami and is yet to drop a set in the tournament. She looks a real threat to the higher-ranked Halep in this one. The pair have met on a hardcourt twice in the past and on both occasions Stephens recorded thumping wins. Admittedly they came two years ago, just before Halep began her rapid rise, but they will surely give the already-confident Stephens real belief she can pull off the upset. Odds of 5/2 are good enough to tempt me in. (Andy Schooler)

1pt Face The Blade (T3) to win 8.19 Swindon at SP

Face The Blade is fancied to get back in the winner's enclosure at Swindon tonight. Kevin Hutton's charge goes in the second of two Calne Racing Arc trial stakes at 8.19 after struggling at Sittingbourne last week, when never able to get going after missing the break. However, the lightly-raced son of Blackstone Gene showed huge potential in his two previous starts on these shores, especially when making all at Towcester in a good time, and the switch to the white jacket (wore red most recently) can spark a better break. 1pt Don’t Be to win 1.40 Lingfield at 9/2 (best odds guaranteed)

Don't Be is fancied to provide her shrewd trainer Sir Mark Prescott with the first winner on All-Weather Championships Finals Day at Lingfield in the 32Red.com Fillies and Mares Final. This daughter of Cape Cross has been one of the biggest improvers during the winter having won a handicap at Wolverhampton in November off a mark of 66 and is now rated 96 following four subsequent victories. Twice a course and distance winner, Don't Be was possibly a shade disappointing in listed company at Wolverhampton last time though she didn't enjoy the clearest of passages and that race was much hotter than this one. Hopefully, the likely strong pace here with front runners like Childesplay, Maggie Pink and the French challenger Fresles in the field, will suit the selection ideally as she has a powerful finishing kick. (Simon Holt)

1pt Notts County to beat Walsall at 3/1

Notts County are in real need of three points against fellow strugglers Walsall. The Magpies are in serious relegation trouble after tumbling down the standings since making a positive start in the opening third of the season. Paul Hart and Mick Halsall are now in interim charge of County and they started with a 2-2 draw at home to Scunthorpe. Walsall are also finding the going tough with just one win in 10 home games. I like the Magpies as big 10/3 outsiders to add to wins against rivals Colchester and Leyton Orient in their previous five away outings. (Nick Hext)

2pts Laughing Gravy (T5) to win 10.11 Romford at 5/4 (best odds guaranteed)

Laughing Gravy can get back on the winning trail at Romford this evening. The Romford Puppy Cup winner chased home You Never Listen in a red-hot final of the Golden Sprint here a fortnight ago, when just beaten to the punch by that rival, but he didn't lose anything in defeat. A similar effort to the corner should see the David Pruhs-trained speedster turn in front tonight and he won't be for catching if that is the case. (Chris Oliver)

1pt Bapak Asmara to win 2.40 Nottingham at 5/1 (best odds guaranteed)

Kevin Ryan’s BAPAK ASMARA looks a decent bet in the five-furlong handicap at Nottingham this afternoon. He’s a half-brother to the useful Nakuti, who took off once sent handicapping and improved from an initial rating of 74 to the listed 92-rated filly that chased home Lady Dutch last Saturday. Bapak Asmara makes his handicap debut off 75 and the way he improved with racing last autumn is a positive ahead of today’s contest. His best effort was his last one, in the Cock O’ The North Maiden Stakes at Doncaster, where he was second to Stake Acclaim in the soft November ground. That was over six furlongs but he led until the final 200 yards, showing plenty of early pace and maintaining it, unlike his previous two starts. He looks well worth a crack dropping back to five furlongs for his handicap debut and he is expected to go well for the in-form Ryan yard. Darma finished in front of the selection at Wolverhampton last October, but Bapak Asmara has improved since then and gets a pull at the weights. He can reverse that form. (Ben Linfoot)

1pt Liverpool to beat Blackburn by a one goal margin at 5/2

Despite their woes both on and off the pitch, Liverpool are a cut above the Premier League opponents that Blackburn have dismissed thus far and quotes of 4/6 to win in 90 minutes are fair and not wholly unattractive but the Reds' ongoing problems up front are enough to leave those alone. Backing the Anfield club to win by a one-goal margin as they did in the replay at Bolton, in the third round at Crystal Palace and at AFC Wimbledon is the preferred option while the braver punter may wish to consider the 2-1 scoreline which was the margin by which they prevailed in all of those games.
