Carlisle captain Danny Grainger claims he has never been happier during his playing career after signing his new deal at the club.
The 29-year-old defender, who joined Carlisle on an initial one-year deal in the summer of 2014, has signed a contract extension to keep him at Brunton Park until June 2017.
"I'm delighted to have got this done," Grainger told the club's official website. "I'm loving it here, I'm happy and it's the most I've enjoyed my football in a long time.
"I'm playing with a smile on my face and going into training every day with a smile on my face. I'm really looking forward to the second half of the season. The manager knows what I bring to the team and the club, which is important."
