Rangers assistant manager David Weir has said the club will continue to take players on loan from Premier League clubs.

The Scottish Championship leaders signed Tottenham pair Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa for this season - although the latter cut short his loan spell last weekend - while Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem recently extended his temporary stay at Ibrox until the end of the campaign.

Weir told his club's official website: "I think Rangers has got great things to give to these loan players in respect of the crowds, the expectations and the environment that hopefully we are creating here that replicates what they want to do with their careers at their parent clubs.
